Weekends in Motion: Finding Inspiration Beyond the Blueprint

At MSH Design Inc., my weekdays are all about bringing dream homes to life. But when the weekend rolls around, I trade floor plans for winding roads.

One of my favorite ways to spend time with my family is by taking out some of our classic cars for a relaxed drive. Sometimes it’s our beautifully kept Porsche 356 SC, other weekends it’s the spirited vintage Ferrari, and once in a while, our vintage Toyota FJ40 joins the adventure. For us, it’s never about speed or showing off—it’s about the simple joy of the open road, the hum of the engine, and the memories we make along the way.

These weekend drives often spark the same kind of inspiration I bring into my architectural work—attention to detail, appreciation for timeless design, and a love for things built to last. After all, the best creations—whether cars or homes—tell a story worth cherishing.
